END RANGE LOADING

End Range Loading (ERL) is an innovative manual therapy that works to decrease pain and dysfunction created by or resulting from but not limited to disc herniation, spinal stenosis, nerve irritations and conditions diagnosed by your physician such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
Disks
ERL often uncovers the pattern of restriction that internal disc disruption syndromes can create. A disc can creep out of its normal position creating pain that can radiate to adjacent areas of the body. The therapy works to help decrease disc creep and restore blood supply to affected tissues.
Nerves
Nerves supplying various structures such as muscles and joints can also be affected by inflammation or tissue fluid build-up. The intent of ERL is to decrease blockages created by excess tissue fluid and scar tissue formation. Loading of nervous tissues can help restore normal blood flow and fluid balance within the nerve. A consistently sore muscle or other soft tissue may be nothing more than a nerve that is not getting the proper blood flow.
The clinic is outfitted with special adjustable tables and equipment that allow our therapists to perform ERL. If indicated ERL is integrated into our overall approach which includes massage and rehabilitative exercises. Your therapist will always assess your condition to determine the best plan for your treatment care
